Fireteam is looking for an enthusiastic, talented and creative Web Developer / Designer who has excellent taste, matched with solid technical ability and more than a passing interest in video games. This person will be responsible for developing the look and feel of both consumer and developer facing websites, establishing a growing team.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Determining and defining requirements, and translating into functioning designs
• Designing and building rich data-driven websites, from overall structure to individual features
• Graphic/UI development
• Solving complex problems within cross-discipline groups
• Interviewing prospective staff
• Building on the long-term vision of Fireteam's web-services

Skills and Experience:

Fireteam's Designer/Web Developer should tick most of the following boxes:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Strong written, verbal, visual, and organizational skills
• 3+ years experience designing and developing websites
• Experience in managing customer relationships
• Solid understanding of and ability to implement web technologies:
  • CSS3, JSON, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5/XHTML, python, cross-browser compatibility, databases, security
• Graphic design experience (Photoshop/Illustrator etc)
• Excellent design sense 

Experience in any of the following areas would be very desirable:

• A/B Testing
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux/OS X
• e-Commerce
• Mobile development
• Video games
